Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Images are stored in Vercel Blob Storage. Chat data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database.

While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service Providers: Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), and AI providers (chat functionality)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect rights and safety
• Community Features: Content you post to the community feed is visible to other users

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies to maintain your login session and provide a seamless experience. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

You have the right to:

• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal information within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer if required by law.

Lock'd is strictly for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we discover that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

9. International Users

Lockd is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the service from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
